On Tuesday, the Spanish telco Elo announced that its top-of-the-line Telefónica brand phone line will become the fastest in the world after an “unprecedented” two years in which it has become the second fastest in Europe.
Telefónia has announced it will use the new technology to help its customers connect to the fastest networks in the EU and to make calls faster.
“Elo’s new technology, Telefonica Plus, is a new platform that delivers faster internet speeds to its customers and more affordable plans for customers,” the telco said in a statement.
“In addition to this, the new platform will allow our customers to access the Internet faster by making the call in Spanish as well as English.
This is an essential step to helping our customers get the most out of the Telefoniasta service.”
Elo says its new technology will also allow its customers to connect to more than 150 countries and territories worldwide.
In order to reach these territories, Telefa will require more bandwidth to reach the fastest connections in the fastest areas.
The telco says it will add more bandwidth and add new features to its service to improve the speed of calls to and from its customers.
Telefa’s new line will launch in September.
