The new service launched today will let users pay monthly and annual installments of $300 to $600 without having to sign up for a contract.
Users will be able to choose between 4G and Wi-Fi.
DirectV will offer the service as a free upgrade to customers who already subscribe to its main tier of 4G service.
Customers who want the service for their primary phone will be required to buy a new phone with a contract, but if they don’t want the contract option, they can still get the service with no contract at all.
The service will be available for all subscribers to pay monthly installments of up to $300 without a phone contract.
If you already have a DirectV phone with an upgrade, you will be asked to sign in with your existing account.
If the customer doesn’t have an existing DirectV account, they will be prompted to sign into a new one.
Customers with a free DirectV smartphone will be allowed to upgrade to the premium version for a price of $200 per month.
This will be the cheapest option available for DirectV customers.
There are two versions of the service: a basic service that includes a smartphone, a $300 monthly installment plan, and a $600 monthly installment plans that include a smartphone.
The $300 tier includes 4G LTE, Wi-fi, and access to all of the apps and services.
The higher plan includes unlimited 4G data, Wi‑fi, HD voice calling, unlimited HD voice, and 4G HD voice.
The other plan has access to the same features as the $300 option, but also includes the option of buying a phone with the upgrade for $200.
There’s a $10 per month monthly charge for the basic plan, $15 per month for the higher plan, plus $10 to $20 for each additional month after the first month.
There’s no mention of the phone price in the contract.
The only other difference between the two plans is that the $600 plan includes a $60 credit towards the first $600 purchase.
There will be a separate monthly charge of $20 to cover the cost of any additional charges incurred.
The full price of the $700 plan will include 4G coverage, but it will also include a $70 credit towards that first purchase.
DirectTV customers will be charged $40 to $70 per month on top of their monthly payments.
There are no details on when that fee will be waived.
The new service is only available in select markets.

The company has been experimenting with new features in the past, including a video-on-demand feature that allows customers to stream content from their phones to a remote TV.
But this is the first time the company has rolled out a phone-based service.
